Books
Curated book recommendations on spirituality, personal growth, philosophy, and travel.
Although I enjoy reading, I wouldn’t call myself an avid reader. Books seem to come into my life just when I need them most—almost as if they find me, rather than the other way around.
I firmly believe that for any challenge you face, at least a thousand others have experienced it too. And surely, someone has written about it. Books hold a wealth of wisdom, offering insights that can transform our perspectives, habits, and even our lives.
The following books on my blog aren’t just titles I’ve read—they are books that have profoundly shaped who I am today. They’ve guided me in moments of doubt, inspired me to grow, and helped me align with a more intentional and meaningful way of living.
📚 My Recommended Reads
- Mind Hacking by Sir John Hargrave
A practical guide to rewiring your brain, improving focus, and overcoming negative thought patterns. Perfect for anyone seeking greater control over their mind.

Mind Hacking
Before I ever knew I was going to go on this journey, this was the first book I read. It was the book that got me out of depression, the book that got me to keep on going because of habits I chose, it was and is the book I owe a lot too till this day.
- Atomic Habits by James Clear
This modern classic offers actionable strategies for building habits that stick and breaking those that hold you back. Small changes, big results.

Atomic Habits
If I am honest, after reading mind-hacking I went on a self-development binge and bought this because everyone recommended it. I won't lie it's really good. BUT, I wouldn't have been able to complete any of the actions if I didn't read Mind Hacking first. I think that's where knowing yourself comes in. Some people only need Atomic Habits, I needed both.
- The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida
An exploration of masculinity, purpose, and relationships. This thought-provoking book challenges conventional norms and inspires deeper self-awareness.

The Way of the Superior Man
In the age of toxic masculinity and ever-changing male and female dynamics, us men are having to redefine what it means to be a man in the modern day. We are no longer are defined by being the breadwinners or the most purpose driven within a household. So where do we find our meaning and how do not only find it but pursue it unabashedly. That is the Way of the Superior Man. A great read for men and women and daughters and sons alike.
- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
A timeless tale about following your dreams and discovering your purpose. Its poetic storytelling offers lessons in perseverance, self-discovery, and faith.

The Alchemist
I love this book so much that I’ll probably read it to my kids every night until they’re old enough to understand its messages. Without giving too much away, if you are someone who is creative, adventurous, curious, questioning, searching, lost, longing, or hurting—this book has something for you.
- Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey
A memoir filled with humour, life lessons, and unapologetic authenticity. McConaughey’s storytelling inspires readers to embrace the journey of life with confidence.

Greenlights
I’ve never read a book like this before—it felt like reading the script to a movie. The highs, the lows, the adventure, the comedic moments, the insights, the BUMPER STICKERS. This book encouraged me to keep writing, keep reflecting, and embrace the adventure of life, even when I don’t know where it’s taking me.
- The Bible
An enduring source of spiritual guidance, wisdom, and inspiration. Its timeless teachings encourage reflection, faith, and connection with the divine.

The Holy Bible
If I talk so much about spirituality and the universe, why do I include the Bible? Because it’s the original—the source of so many spiritual lessons and universal laws. It’s all there, but you need to infer, reflect, and listen deeply. Ultimately, it’s about surrendering to something greater than yourself. Whether you call it the Bible, the Universe, God, or the Source, they all point to the same truth, Love.
How These Books Fit My Journey
Each of these books has left a unique imprint on my life, from shaping my mindset to guiding my actions. Whether it’s cultivating better habits, reflecting on purpose, or embracing spirituality, these works have helped me navigate life with more clarity and intention.
I hope these recommendations find you at the right moment, just as they found me.
